Once you are registered, you will be able to check, book and cancel your GP appointments and order any repeat medications you may need.
You can book appointments for most doctors through our online service however at present it is not possible to book nursing appointments. Please continue to book all treatment room appointments with our Reception team.
You can also use our website for requesting continuation Fitness to work notes, sending messages to the practice and also letting us know what you think through our online patient survey (available on the homepage).
How to Register to use the Service
- You have to Register with the surgery in person. No-one else can do this on your behalf including family members. Registered carers are an exception to this rule.
- You will need to bring along two forms of ID, one showing proof of address (e.g. Utility bill or Bank statement/letter etc) and one photographic (e.g. passport, driving license, official employment ID). This is to comply with the Data Protection Act. There can be no exceptions.
- Once your details are verified by the receptionists, you will be given a registration document that will provide you with a unique login. You will need these details to create your account and we recommend that you do not share these login details with anyone else.
To create an account online, please click on the link at the bottom of this page. You will be taken to the Patient access portal (The clinical system that supports our online services).
- You can register directly with the Patient access website on provision of certain security information however you will be required to visit the surgery with your ID documents before you will be given access to the full range of services.
If you lose or forget your password or your access-ID then you will need to re-register. You will be required to call into the surgery in person to collect a new registration document. Nobody else can collect it on your behalf. You will need your address/ID documents again.
